Hi Akbar –
— this is an easy one though if you have not done this before you will need to spend quite a bit of time reading up about it…..
1 ) Get the Photo graph ( that was n the shoot ) – take it into Photo shop and paint out the subject using cloning or whatever – this is so you have 2 versions – one with and one without subject.
2 ) take clip into AE and add the 2 PS stills as seperate layers.
3 ) track the 2 PS stillS to the picture frame in the moving shot and cross-fade from one to the other as desired.
All the best

Firstly before you start save the project anyway then try…
1 ) Pressing control and z together a few times ( ie back one / back one / back one / etc etc
2 ) Reset to standard layout – which is a tab at the top right of the picture panel

———- all you need to do is apply a mask if its picture in picture or increase the size of the footage in fame.
If you dont want to do it that way its more of an effects job which is impossible to comment on without seeing footage.
If might be worth stabilising the footage as well by the sound of it.

Thanks Walter for your excellent feedback —
— exactly what I wanted to know — its all a bit speculative ATM but will probably go ahead with something like this before the end of the year and review after the spring.
Best regards

Hi Ted …….
…. sounds like you have been beta testing something interesting ! ( ? )
Dont really have the luxury of waiting TBH — current set-up is too limited and am planning to get something which has a certain amout of up-gradeability anyway which I hope will serve me well…..
……. anyway — sounds like you are saying this sort of configuration is possible and that as far as you know this kind of thing works ok ( ? ) …………….

Hi – I would say definately shoot the talent first and comp him/her into an animating 3D model of a maze
If you can organise your choreography so that the entrance into the room is not a continuous shot then so much the better.
If you want a continuous shot then maybe its would work ok green screen the interior of the room and replace the inside with still which mix through to the 3d anim.
So much depends on the camera move as well.
I would storyboard this sequence first and go though it with someone who understands the dos and donts of compositing first.
If you only have one shot at this best do a test first … its one of those comps that might be easy and look great if you plan it well but if not you could be in for a load of aggrolater.
….. my tuppence worth …… and hope this helps.
