    Hi Paul

————— theres loads of animating shapes and they are all out of place ….

……. dont worry thanks – I reckon if there was an easy answer it would probably arrived by now…..

…… am thinking now that its a question of correcting comp settings and repositioning everything …..though was thinking of rendering out and importing to correct — though its hardly worth it as I have 5 versions to do so might as well just get on with it I think.

——————— thanks all the same – kind of confirmed what I was thinking anyway ————- chris

    Hi Paul –

    – thanks for speedy reply but that sounds much the same to me as simply changing the comp settings

    – I have wondered if theres some trick at the output stage but I cant find one ……..

hi — if the keylight problems persist you can probably draw up a matt in PS and track it on.

I had a window once which would not key and I tracked the shot and pasted in a retouhed still of the whole window which worked fine though this may not work if the camera moves round much – the ligthning could be faked in the window area if you need to give it a try….

    thanks Jonny — spot on

    — thinking of getting a second monitor anyway to display interlaced footage — if you have any suggestions on that one as well I’d very much appreciate it – lower cost option preferred….

Hi — although continue to be amazed at what plug-ins can do would be very surprised if these are not live-action shots — seen a lot that look pretty much identical.

  • Hi —————-

    — mac have s nicer OS but its largely controlled by Apple in a monopoly environment which has disadvantages.

PC has security issues and you need to get used to loads of dopey emails and how to deal with all the rubbish that gets aimed at you – but no problem as soon as you get used to it….

….. think PC based stuff has more options because of larger user base such as freeware and sparks …..

—- came off Autodesk stuff on Linux and went for a PC myself ….

….. a mate of mine who comes from a mac based print environment started doing Maya stuff had needed new kit — went for a PC having just spent about 2 grand upgrading his mac software … said he wished he had done it before…

….. on balance I reckon PC if you are short on dosh and suspect you will never look back…

…….though loads of people swear by their macs …..

    —————– good luck —– chris
