I went into the folder containing the .mts files for the out of sync
footage.sorted by file kind, deleted all conform files within:
.xmp
.cfa
.pek(These are the files adobe creates when conforming/importing as everyone knows)
relaunched premiere and now they are all in sync.
All I can think of that might have caused the issue is that I hit save
while the conform was occurring and it somehow disrupted and threw the audio sync off.the new order of the day around here is: import files, don’t do anything until conforming is done

ya all files have conformed (it was about 20 clips)
playing off a very capable macpro with Raid5 and quadro 4000 gpu card.
I hardly ever have any issues that get mentioned here, but this one
got me today.I did read a suggestion about deleting the .cfa files and having cs 6.01
conform them again.I’ll post updates or a workaround as these have to be used for editing tomorrow.

have you tried bringing it in via adobe prelude?

how do you have premiere configured in the sound device and output preferences?
It should not be set for Kona3.
The correct setting is: system default input/output
It can only be set one way, otherwise the audio device can get conflicted
and have issues. -
as long as its 1920×1080 29.97fps you can use any sequence setting.
It’s exporting where you need to set the options for Quicktime, then below that ProRes 422 (HQ)
(provided you have final cut studio installed for that codec)make sure you click on the prores options to set it for upper field and no gamma changes.

In simplified terms,
for TV/DVD/Broadcast, the levels shouldn’t peak/bounce much beyond -10db
for youtube/phones (unamplified sources) it could peak to zero

I totally agree with you there and I did read on a forum where the “hacked” get a non certified
gpu to work was causing someone all sorts of issues. -

only issue might be a generations loss from the export compression.

I had that same problem Benjamin,
but it was only for a particular sequence with some weird footage codec.Restarting also fixed the export.
what are you using as a sequence preset?
I and others have found the AVC-Intra 100 to be the most problem free.

do you have the ram preference settings set for performance?
trying to playback all those different formats with a single sata
disk, could possibly be your issue.A Raid zero should help that.
