export it as DNXHD.

sometimes fixing one thing breaks another.
there was a recent update to Audition that broke the broadcast limiter.
since my I.T. support days I NEVER upgrade
to the latest/greatest until somebody else can
demonstrate stability.I would almost bet Adobe will address the issue internally
(fix the 6.02) or release 6.03 with fixes to 6.02 -

I don’t like the bars in premiere.
The ones made in Final Cut Pro are better for calibration in my experience.
I use that same procedure you provided a link to.
If you can get it to calibrate to the bars
and you use your vector scope and luminance
to check things, it should be pretty darn close. -

I’ve had really great luck with an old multibridge-extreme and premiere 6.01
with a quadro 4k.My other machine had random lockups and output issues, ended up being
hardware issues on a Decklink studio and quadro 4k. -

The RED Rocket hardware from RED is what they might have been talking about.
You don’t necessarily need it.
What you would need to edit RED footage is:
a RAID of some kind so playback is snappy.
an NVIDIA GPU / video card so that Mercury Transmit is enabled.and the RED importer plugins found here:
https://labs.adobe.com/technologies/redepic_importer/
You might also get more RAM, you’re just about the minimum.

I’d leave it on variable bit rate.
wmv file sizes can get wildly out of control.
something around 900 – 1,200 kbps should create block free video.

The original matrox mxo did have SDI out, and was fed with the 2nd dvi out connector
but I don’t think that would work since the quadro is 1 dvi out.There’s another quadro 4000 model albeit way more in cost that has
an SDI out connector. -
sounds like the data rate is too low.
