in final cut pro, if you move the mouse cursor down in the area
at the bottom (where the zoom tool is) it scrolls forward or
back in time.in premiere it only zooms in and out.
I just found that if I hold alt/option down it works, but
I’d prefer it to without having to do that. -
so its just me then…. so be it. 🙂

F9 minimizes all apps to panels on a mac. using cmd+F9 keeps the panels from moving and inserts.
previous next edit can be the arrow keys and is also mapped to the colon and apostrophe (I use the latter)

Insert editing is F9, should be CMD+9
Next, previous sequence edit point should be colon and quote keys.
Render all within work area should be CMD+R

what I’ve seen seems to indicate it doesn’t work since AME
needs 64 bit quicktime support which is non existent.https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/921396#921396
someone else said if you uninstall, flip4mac than re-install it should work though.
I have not re-installed flip since installing cs 6. I’ll give it a try.

I own flip4mac pro and AME cs6 doesn’t work with my plugin, but
you’re saying Creative Cloud will recognize if I have it installed?That would be fantastic.

Ya get a Quadro 4K.
It makes a BIG difference in work flow.
I wouldn’t work without it.

That’s exactly what I’m talking about. I’ve had other editors
bring in files they’ve exported as reference and they decided
to delete or not copy the sources to their backup, thus having a useless
non working reference file. Then it delays an already tight deadline
and if media was deleted you’re sol. No thank you.This has happened a number of times in past years.
That = pain in my world.
The mandated policy at our facility is not to use them as an extra precaution.For this instance it’s fine and worked. Just re-iterating why it’s not the best
idea for those that “don’t understand.” -

If it’s ProRes or uncompressed then it’s lossless.
Always export as self-contained. Reference exports can
cause you major pain later.Make sure it looks right when it’s exported.
1440×1080 is a non square pixel ratio. It plays out at 1920×1080 but
if not properly interpreted at encode time will end up looking weird.
