Well, I hope they fix the gamma shift bug inherent in past versions of DNxHD.
Whenever I got those kinds of files for making blu-rays it would
darken the picture if I didn’t transcode it to something else first. -

I ran into this a few times back when I was on CS 5.5
First time on CS 6 this happened.

I opened the last project I successfully exported a 1080P ProRes file with 2 weeks ago.
It renders out just fine…..hhhmmmm.
I opened the project having the problem, made a new sequence (same settings)
copied the content over and now it works. -

How would you do that on Snow Leopard?
Just delete the quicktime 7.app and the preferences, then copy
it back over from the snow leopard disc? -

That’s a very rare situation for me but a Good Point never the less.

I don’t believe so. I’m on the MAC version.
Some days it’s there, some days not.

I seldom ever spring for the “latest greatest” in software
releases because they usually introduce a slew of new problems.Premiere CS 5.5 and later have all been the exception and
I can’t wait to start working with CS 7. -

Truth be told, I’m a bit annoyed they didn’t mention a release date.
Not even a “2nd quarter 2013” or even something vague. -
I can’t think of any good reason NOT to edit native in Premiere.
True at the end the final export may take a bit longer, but it might not.
In my experience using cs6 for nearly a year on everything, transcoding
anything is a waste of time and resources. -
I don’t get it….have they decided NOT to offer perpetual licensing for CS 7?
