[José Luis Martínez Díaz] “decklink within speedgrade.”

    yes please!

I haven’t had any round tripping issues going from premiere cc (MAC) to speedgrade
then back to premiere, but it’s all been basic HD broadcast color correction, not too fancy
    with masks and such.

I forgot to add, I’d like AME to export seperate .wav or .aif files
instead of interleaved ones when I have a stereo track and surround sound
    stems in a sequence.

I would like to see the video scopes in SpeedGrade completely replaced
with the much more useable scopes currently present in Adobe On Location.

Would be great if premiere had them as well…one consistent set of useable scopes

Several of us users have filed a request for it.

ya that was one of his talking points Tim.

He was a bit upset there was no Nvidia options to really take
advantage of the very mature CUDA infrastructure.

He also mentioned apple has been very difficult at
getting OpenCL to work as good as it can, as if they
    were doing that purposefully.

I read an article where a vfx person put the Dyson smokeless ashtray…er New Mac Pro
to the test against a year old 12-core mac tower with near maxed out specs.

The results were over all, not much more performance.

One BIG issue that needs to be addressed is Apple/Adobe working
together to improve OpenCL to unleash the full power of the FirePro Gpus it has.

And like someone else mentioned, optimizing for RED debayering in the GPU.

So in the end Extreme Reach asked me to upload an HD Apple Pro Res file
to their site, then email them the .scc caption file for them to
    create the transport stream.

the alternative was buying sorenson squeeze for $ 750 to create the mpeg2 transport
stream with captioning embedded from an OP1a .mxf created by premiere cc october update version.

    Thanks Don,

That gives me a few things to try, will post when I find out.

At this point I’m just looking for a way to transcode that .mxf
into MpegTS while retaining the caption data.

I also asked Extreme Reach if they would just accept an .mxf
since they list adobe as a way of delivering the asset.

are you running CS 6 or CC?
Do you have a GPU to accelerate? (Nvidia or ATI)

I’m running CC MAC with a Quadro 4000 and had render
issues similar but that was with CS6.

[Tero Ahlfors] “Blackmagic has a bunch of TB I/O´s.”

Those are neat, but I don’t think they will output SpeedGrade to
an external monitor. (If he wanted that functionality)

    kona 3G

I saw a list that indicated one of the thunderbolt expansion chassis
available (sonnet i think) works with the Kona Cards.
