The reason why I’m de-interlacing my footage is to use Instant HD
after following your steps, it still seems as though I’m not getting any results from RedGiants plug in…thats why I asked if the effect was that subtle, I’m sorry I was refering to Instant HD

Any suggestions for that
Apparently Instant HD will only work on progressive footage

I’ve done all of this, but I can’t see any difference when I apply
Instant HD…I move all the settings to different combo’s and nothing I do seems to make a difference.

Any suggestions?…is the effect that subtle?

I was asked to create autoshow movie for Plasma Screens and I am wondering what to set my comp settings to.

I’m looking into the screen size dimensions for SD.
I understand HD is 1280:720
but what about Standard definition how do you compensate for new plasma screens and not screw up your aspect ratio?

When you set up your settings I’ve been using 1280:720 but that seems so huge.
Are there other dimensions that Broadcast Editors use?

I have brought the .mov into Aftereffects 6.0 is there anything I can do there? to stop the interlacing?
