Try this-
Click in a bin and make a new adjustment layer. Paste it on top level of a new sequence that contains all of your other sequences (not nested).
Apply video effect/distort/transform. The scaling it will affect everything.

Try Transcriptive from Digital Anarchy. It isn’t perfect but its speech recognition technology in multiple languages might get you though the edit. Then have the accuracy checked by a native speaker after the edit? The speech recognition is cheap to use for long interviews especially….

Right so I have to click “end” every time. It’s too bad because it’s right at the end where I need it when I activate the sequence and then BAM it moves to the head for no reason by itself.

Hi jan.
I have an hmc40. I want to get the ac90 as well. Do you think I can get away with intercutting footage from these cams for a two camera shoot?

The interesting part is, the interview in this footage doesn’t play in sync in FCP, either in clip form or in a 24P timeline with same settings as the clip. If I drop it into a 29.97 timeline, it stays in sync. I think I am just going to edit with it in 29.97 and export 29.97 and see what happens. I have one other main interview that is 29.97.

You know, I have zipped it and uploaded several times and it never seems to posted anywhere in here….

I suspect you are right. The codec reads AVC Intra 100 1080 24p/p30. In P2CMS it reads as 29.97fps, but after import into FCP it reads 23.98 fps. I remember hearing something about “24P in a 29.97 stream” but have no idea what that means.
