    Hi Ty,

    I got that adapter…
    https://www.amazon.com/Cuxnoo-Converter-Raspberry-Chromebook-Projector/dp/B08866QMFT/ref=sr_1_5?dchi

but the HDMI on this adapter is regular size so it wont fit the micro (?) HDMI on the Canon. Is there some kind of a male HDMI adapter that would fit this adapter on oen end to the Camer’s micro HDMI and on the other end will fit this apparently “female” HDMI” on the other end?

    Thank you!

    Thank you, John, Appreciate that.

We have lavaliere mics (2) we mic up our subjects for interviews so we’re thinking we could get an HDMI to VGA adapter with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and just hook up the headphones that way?

You shared “click the Icon on the left” – which icon? Name? Location? I clicked the View tab and there is no Single Pane/Window view to eliminate the 2nd window.

Also, when I drag an MP4 file from the Viewer down to the Timeline it does NOT display what’s in the video in the Viewer; it only displays the name of the video file (e.g. MP4 0135476) not the actual video.

All the YT tutorials I’ve watched (several now) none explain how to display the video in the Timeline and not the file name. Billy Rybka says there’s an Append button but never states where/how you locate that Append.

I’ve Right Clicked, as advised, in a number of places on screen but none have any drop-down menu for Append (to add more media files).

Also, unlike many of the program where you can click the Help button and search for a function like Append, DR Help does not allow that. The online manual does not offer solutions to these questions and others; it per4suemn you’ve migrated from Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier. I’ve successfully edited several videos using another video editing program and been complimented on the editing and the video but they were much more intuitive, user-friendly and supported by an online community. Trial and error would take more time than I’m permitted and the YT videos don’t address what actions to take when your screen doesn’t display what you see in their controlled environment.

    Thaanks.

    Hi Michael,

It’s been crazy busy but thank you so much for sharing your suggestions. Do you recall any specific YT videos that were most helpful when you got started in DAR? There’s so many of Mar AlexTech, etc.

    Hi Tom,

All I want to do is replicate what I see in the YT videos to learn DAR. So, I opened DAR in one window and opened another window net o it in File Explorer and found 3 separate MP4 videos. I dragged all 3 to the Movie Pool wind and you see it lists them (not in horizontal form as I would like and I see in the YT videos but vertical so I’m not sure how to fix that. But, more importantly, when I drag all 3 videos down to the Time line you see from my jpg it only shows one video and DAR automatically converts it into A1 and V1. I never chose that, DAR just does that. I’m just trying to learn how to use the Edit page (button) to edit videos. I have no idea why DAR takes the 3 videos when I drag them and only displays them as A1 and V1. How can I correct that and/or ensure I only see a video or video clips on the Timeline like I see in the YT videos? Also, do you see show DAR auto creates a Timeline in the Media Pool window? I never created that. Again, how can I avoid DAR auto creating that Timeline? Thank you!

    Hi Tom and all,

I’m stuck right at the beginning so I wonder if there’s a setting I need to change? I’ve uploaded a jpg of what I see. Thank you so much.
