Can you give a little more info about this FX pac and the fix for smoothcam?

I’m in a bind. I have installed shake and lost smoothcam. I don’t know how to use shake yet.

    Thanks

    Hey Tom

That’s the obvoius answer, but I have not trained on Shake yet, and it’s totally non-intuitive. How ’bout a quick, down & dirty tutorial so I can get this to the client today?

    If you can….

    Thanks

I have t posted a new thread on the subject.

I lost smoothcam as a result of installing Shake, which itself has the original SmoothCam filter. I am sure it’s related, but I don’t know what to do.

Have you found a solution? I can’t render a big client’s project now, and there is a lot of smoothcam in it on the aerial shots.

    Any info would help.

PS Do you have Shake installed?

I have recently done a similar shoot and found the R4 Pro to record a tad quiet. I was getting good looking levels going by the meters, but when looking at the files later they were pretty low in volume. That increases the noise floor, so you really have to pump the thing. A quiet pre-mixer would help.
