  • SmoothCam plug Lost after Installing Shake????!!

Posted by Chad Johnson on September 28, 2007 at 4:27 pm

Hi I am running FCP 6 with the sweet “SmoothCam” plugin they added. The plug-in is I believe a stripped down version of the plug-in from Shake. So, I just got Shake 4 and installed it. Now I have lost the SmoothCam plug-in in Final Cut Pro 6.

    Anyone know the fix?

Help! I have a client’s project due and it won’t render that plug-in any more.

    Mods?

    Thanks

Send it to Shake and do it there.

    Hey Tom

That’s the obvoius answer, but I have not trained on Shake yet, and it’s totally non-intuitive. How ’bout a quick, down & dirty tutorial so I can get this to the client today?

    If you can….

    Thanks

I don’t know Shake. I assumed you knew it. You might try reinstalling FCP and uninstall Shake if you’re not going to use it.

So I just want to keep you abreast of what’s happening with Final Cut Studio 2. I have just had my 3rd session with apple support. I removed and installed many elements with them but I still have major issues with the whole suite. I have reinstalled it 4 times and I still have no:

    Hi all,

I have installed FCP Studio 2. So I´ll use the smoothcam filter, but the system gives my the warning: the filter has no script! (If I highlight the filter and I use the right mousebutton, go to the editor. Than I get the follow warning: That effect does not have a script. Its contents may not be viewed)
