Are you aware that you can turn on a thumbnail column in list mode? That will allow you to arrange them by any column heading while still seeing the thumbnail. Just rt+click the column headings at the top of the browser and select show thumbnail.

Not your ideal solution but it might work for you.

Have you tried checking the permissions by doing a ‘get info’ on the file? Highlight the file then cmd+I. At the bottom is the permissions. It’s probably read only for your current user. If so, change it to read & write. You’ll need the admin password.

So even though this will be finished at 1080 in the end, I should make everything match at 720 and then when it’s onlined let the Kona upconvert all of it to 1080?

Considering that there is probably 15 hours of stuff to convert, would it make sense to go ahead and do the rough cut and then only convert what I’ll be using… or is that going to throw off the timing of the edits and cause way too many headaches? I don’t have a whole lot of time for this first round of editing so I’m just looking to be efficient.
