if i caputre 320 x 240 the video is fine but not as clear. when i capture 640 x 480 thats when i get the streaks but the video quality is amazing. thanks

i would buy a converter but i dont really have the funds to do that right now. im just trying to figure out why vegas is thinking that a 20 min. dvd file is a 1 1/2 min. dvd file. thanks

ok, i updated vegas to 6.0c and now it can import the .ac3 audio but, now the video and audio is messed up. even when i try to play the video/audio from the beginning it will play a part for about 20 seconds then jump to another part. it also does that when i jump around the video/audio maually. i downloaded gui4ffmpeg13 from videohelp.com and it does a really good job converting the dvd files to avi, but vegas wont allow me to import the video, just the audio.

the video i am trying to import is 20 mins long but vegas see’s it as a 1 1/2 – 2 min. video/audio file.

    thanks

well its vegas 6.0 (build 84), so i dont know if that 6.0c

the audio is ac3 but i already convert it so vegas can import it.

its really not the audio thats having the problem its the video. like i said in the previous post.

    thanks

nope still does it with no matter what prgram i capture it with. the only way it wont be out of sync is if i pull video off of a dvd.
