    I’m not so sure that

[jano sempere] “I need to give unique shape deformation for each one.”

giving that automatically will get you that desired pattern, since every time they have a triangle shape the next one seems to be more trapezoidal, implying that the deformation was added after placement. I’m guessing this was done with a manual push/pull and then an overall noise deform.

I have no idea how to do it perfectly, meaning you’ll have to set it up once you have the final text.

    But I hope it helps.

I usually achieve that in post. A little glow on that object id. If you pay close attention, the reflection of that is not as bright as the lines itself. So I’m guessing that they changed something in post.

You’ll need to get some light emission in your render for that overall look, so I’m guessing not using GI is not an option.

Are the layers you’re expecting to move also set to be 3d layers?

Well, if you can do it with effects, the circle effect alone can get you 90% of the way, you could save it as a preset and just double click it anytime you want, without nothing selected it would create a comp size grey solid and apply. (You already have the Vignette Lightning preset to test it)

But really, how many times a day do you need that? Cause personaly I just do: Crtl + Y, set to black, double click round mask tool, Ctrl + Shift + I, “f” to feather. Its like 10s. Even though I have access to the Sapphire Vignette plugin thats pretty robust, I rarely use it.

You’re probably not seeing the layers because you may have changed the total duration of those pre-comps but you may have missed to extend the layers inside them to the 60s mark.

  • Try the mograph’s Tracer object.

You can add objects to the trace link property and change the mode to Connect All Objects.

Make sure your Element 3d and your video drivers are up to date.

Well, I just make do with a bunch of textures, instead of you applying the noise, get some slightly grey textures with the noise already in, so its not that uniform as the effect would result. Cycle through them and blend it, its usually overlay, so you’ll get that saturated look also.

August 30, 2018 at 7:18 pm in reply to: Animate arrow in a 3D space

    There’s no attachment.

For a few arrows and no actual geometry (2.5D) I’d just drawn the paths(using position keyframes) and auto-orient the arrow heads (or rotate them manually, since auto-orient gets crazy sometimes).
If you need trails with more than 2 dimensions, you’ll require an external plugin (any third party particle plugin can generate a trail).

For the best result I’d export the position+camera data to C4D and go from there. (this requires a lot of experience and workflow knowhow, but its pretty straightfoward and effortless once you know it)
