you can make masks with what they suggested but they wont have any temporal/spatial relation(between frames), so you can’t have plexus animated.

Theres no easy way to do that.

I’ve had this kinda issue before, it was a codec messing things up. I had installed the main concept codec suit, and for some reason, they didn’t seem to get along very well with the mp4 files I was working with.

decrease the keyframe interval, it will make your file bigger, but it will increase the chances it takes for the compressor to get a better reference frame.

NOT an expert on this, but I believe it will work since I had my share of headaches before, one really funny though I think I’ll share. I had to export a low res wmv from a 2min video so the client could approve.

And the AE wmv compressor simple choose to skip the last 15 frames, half a second of logo and some legal stuff. It just held the previously frame for 15 more frames. It took me two hours to figure it out. Lowering the keyframe from 5 to 4 did the job and kept the size restriction they had.

Are they intersecting the floor layer? I did some tests here and it seems it shows up only when something is intersecting them. Otherwise moving 1 or 2 frames apart solved the issue.

If your isolating the grass with the effect change to color, just check the view matte and use that as a matte to ANY color correction effect that AE has, such as curves on adjustment layers.

whats your pixel aspect ratio? most build in camera effects don’t see anything past square.

Walter is right, and to make it simple you need to replace the expression on XY to

a=thisComp.layer(“null 2”);
a.toWorld(a.anchorPoint)

and on Z to:

a=thisComp.layer(“null 2”);
a.toWorld(a.anchorPoint)[2];

…make sure you have the exact name of the null between the “”.
