well the thing is how do i position it on that point, i dont want to change the position of it, becuase the position is linked to a script that makes the shape rotate with time so the position is not moving, its the rotation that is moving and causing the shape to move, you follow me, so by positioning the layer to be parented with the rotationg object is probably justb going to make the object rotate, which i dont want it to, i want it to follow it, like i have drawn it on the diagram thanks!

import your .ai into after effects, then right click on it on the timeline and choose create shapes from vector as shown below

then after that make sure the layer is in 3d then on comp settings change the camera from classic to ray traced then go to your object/shape layer and extrude it like this pic

extrusion depth and thats it put the camera on custom setting 1 so you can see it better

in CS6 theres a new parent option jus hold control while you drag the pick whip, in this case parent the eyes to the null object and hold control, you will see on the timeline the parenting details explained, its going to be in the area where the expressions go, theres 2 different types of parenting now, hopefully this helps, if yur not using CS6 get the trial =)
