Codec not found. you may be using a compression type w/o the correspoding hardware card. I have moved my drives from a G-4 dual desktop to my G-4 Powerbook both with fcp hd.

Thanks for your help. I don’t have a pal camera in the states. Is there a card to put into my computer out to pal tv.

    Thanks

Or simply firewire out to your camera, then RCA (or s-video) from the camera to the TV. No additional equipment needed. And no wear and tear on the camera either.

Dazzle? Avoid the Dazzle. If you want a dedicated converter, get the ADVC-100 by Canopus. That is the gold standard of DV converters, and it is cheap. $265.

But as I said, no additional hardware is needed. Just your camera as the piece of equipment between your computer and T”

Thanks for your response. I am in the states and do not have a pal camera here to go from computer to camera to tv. Is canopus a card to put into computer with s-video out to tv/pal.

    thanks
