I have a client who is requesting a CD that can play both video on a computer, or audio when placed in a CD player. Is this possible? Open to ideas and suggestions as to how to get this done. Client wants 3 thousand CD’s on a 4 day turnaround.

Yes, its called an enhanced cd. The best way to do this is to burn the audio to session one on the disc, and the compressed movie file to session two. When the disc is put in a cd player only session one is read. When it is put in a computer both sessions load on the desktop or D: and E: drives. Usualy the data side has artwork text video and weblinks all in HTML or a stand alown Fash or Java player, but I have seen E-CDs with just a video file (QT) and a web link.

    The message says
Codec not found. you may be using a compression type w/o the correspoding hardware card. I have moved my drives from a G-4 dual desktop to my G-4 Powerbook both with fcp hd.
