    Thanks for your reply Ivan. Sorry for not being clearer earlier. I am working with FCP7 and Compressor.
    The compressor settings I was trying were ‘h.264 for apple devices’. Bit rate around 1000kbps.
    Delivery is a multimedia file, framed to 640×360. This is for easy and quick internet distrubtion. However, as I mentioned, I still want to retain the 50fps live feel. It is quite likely the file will end up being displayed on a 576i (pal land) projector.

    Sorry I’m away from the workstation so I can’t provide screen shots at the moment.

    Thanks for the link. Where do I find what level h.264 I’m using? Could you reccomend any presets as a good start?

    So to workflow – I’m capturing DVCPRO HD 720p25.
    Should drop the footage onto a DVCPRO HD 50 timeline? Or do I need to convert the footage? Thanks for your help.
