Walked in this morning and the editor said it’s working now. The sequence was 422HQ, changing it to 4444 fixed the issue. Duh…
At least now I know all about ProRes RGB vs YUV color space! Thanks for the help everyone.

I think I found the thread you were referring to about YUV/RGB. Sounds like taking 4444 back to FCP isn’t going to work due to the color shift. I left a tiff sequence rendering overnight, I’m not sure if that’s going to help me or not but it was worth a longshot. We have done this workflow before successfully, I wonder if the files started off RGB last time we did the clean round trip? Is there any way to tell if the 4444 is YUV or RGB?

The source footage is 4444 and we are trying to maintain the color fidelity throughout the pipeline.

I did see that part about Chapter Indexing. I was hoping to script the menu creation in Photoshop or After Effects, I guess the Chapter Index feature is good enough. So you’re saying that what I was asking isn’t possible?

I had the same thing happen last week. There was no way to fix my problem. I called Adobe and they told me I was hosed. Sorry man. You can also try holding down shift when you open the file I think.
Good news is, it’s quicker to make the second time!
