OK. I figured it out. I relaunched the installation and went to Modify and saw the Vegas Plug-in was not selected.
Any assistance w/ finding the Swish pan filter would be appreciated.

Maybe some semi complex lower similar to those we see on ESPN, FOX, CNN etc but w/ a PI flair. (;
I think many people could use those right away.

I’ve found that the links work OK in other sections but none of the links work in the Motion Effects section.
For instance, the links work fine in the Shape section, so I don’t think it’s my browser.
The reason I would like a stand alone .pdf is, when I do research offline.
Thanks,

Under the Creating Effects / Motion Effects / Motion Stabilizer Section.
When clicking on any link on the page, still getting the following error:
The webpage cannot be found
HTTP 404
Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date. What you can try:
Retype the address.Go back to the previous page.
Go to and look for the information you want.
More information
I’m running Internet Explorer Ver: 8.0.6001.188702
Again, where can I download a .pdf of the manual?
Thanks!

Thanks Peter, I think I kind of figured it out. I moved the video event below the effect and the trackers appeared.
Still not sure what all the other controls are and how they are used. There’s NOTHING on the web or in the online documentation.
Is there a better more detailed tutorial, .pdf or manual of all the controls?
I ended up using Mercalli stabilization, much better result and straight forward.

Jon Rofrano has an excellent tutorial on this. Click the Boris FX Tutorials link at the top of the page and search for UpRez.

Thanks Theo,
OK I have Boris RED version 5.0.2.424. Went to the Boris product updates and was not able to find 5.0.4.https://www.borisfx.com/updates/#null
Where can I download it?

OK Got it to work..
STEPS:
1. Drop Boris Effect onto clip.
2. Select Color Match filter.
3. Add reference screen shot (or video) and move below source video
4. Adjust size of reference clip
5. Select BCC Color Match track and change Compare Mode drop down to Compare w/ Below.NOTE: The sky in this clip is between the Highlight and Midtone (leaning more toward the midtone), so match the Highlight Source / Target AND the Midtone Source / Target.
(This was the step I was missing.)
As Alan mentioned, Use the View (Vie… on my screen) dropdown to help determine the whether the area that needs color correcting is in the Highlight, Midtone or Shadow range.
NOTE:
Target = the clip whose color you are sampling
Source = the filtered clipAdditional settings explanations can be found in the online manual:
https://www.borisfx.com/red/Red5Help/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm6. Now adjust the Master Level and Master Color until the colors line up.
When the colors are in the ballpark normal up Compare Mode to Off.
Comparing the other clips, these steps got the off color clip in the ball park. I guess I could get fancy and use a mask to adjust the sky colors separately from the horizon to get even more accurate color matching but don’t know how to do that in Boris RED yet. (:
