I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong..
The colors on the video doesn’t change to the snapshot colors.
Here’s a quick screen capture of what I’m doing. In this video clip I’ve used Source on the video and Target on the reference. Then tried again with the Source on the reference snapshot and Target on the video.

I want the video to have the nice light blue sky that’s in the snapshot.
Again thanks for all the help.

Great! Thanks for the tips. The .jpg image works well enough to compare the video colors.
The thing is, the destination video colors doesn’t change or “match” the source footage after selecting the color area using the color selector tool.
Again I’m new to Boris Red, so on the uphill side of the learning curve. (:
Thanks again!

Yes, the tutorials are very good. Also if you can find Elvis Dean’s Magicians Guide to Particle Illusion on sale it’s a good investment.

Hey! After a couple of hours and some sleep, I was able to figure it out. (:
The steps are similar to Larry Jordan’s tutorial for FCP, some of the controls are under different tabs.

Ahhh, making the particles grow and changing it’s size over life to give the illusion of movement.
Thank you!

I’m just getting started w/ editing in HD transitioned from Platinum Pro land over to Vegas 9, really enjoy using the program and just built a new i7 860 editing machine for this purpose.
Like Roger, I’m getting choppy playback editing HD 720P .mov videos.
I read on other threads and like you mentioned, that Vegas only uses CPU to process video I noticed that my CPU is only running at 25-30% across all cores.
Is there a way to get Vegas use more CPU to process the video for smoother playback. I know Vegas can use 100% of CPU processing to render why not video playback?
Thanks!

Yes very nice, I can definitely try to modify some of these for background effects. Thanks!

December 3, 2009 at 7:30 pm in reply to: Can Vegas pro edit multiple camera views at the same time? Can UltimateS and Excalibur handle multi-cam clips in diffrent formats like .avi and .mov at the same time. I know Vegas can’t. I have to re-render each clip to the same format then use the Vegas multi cam function. This works fine just takes time.
Thanks!
