    Hi,

Hmmm … I wonder if that was some kind of temporary glitch or a server overload … I just checked the page and the links appears to be fully functional. Can you please try it again from your side to see if it’s working for you?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Under the Creating Effects / Motion Effects / Motion Stabilizer Section.

When clicking on any link on the page, still getting the following error:

    The webpage cannot be found
    HTTP 404
    Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

    What you can try:
    Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Go to and look for the information you want.

    More information

I’m running Internet Explorer Ver: 8.0.6001.188702

Again, where can I download a .pdf of the manual?

    Thanks!
    Byron

    Hi Bryon,

I’ve tried several different browsers on multiple platforms and the links are working fine for me. I’m not sure why your experience is different. We do not have a pdf version of the RED 5 on-line docs but if it’s only a particular section then we can make that for you and send it along. Would that work for you?

Or, and perhaps better yet, if you have RED 5 installed then the very same documentation will be available to you from under the Help menu in RED. This is stored locally on your system so there should be no need to be on-line to retrieve it.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

I’ve found that the links work OK in other sections but none of the links work in the Motion Effects section.

For instance, the links work fine in the Shape section, so I don’t think it’s my browser.

The reason I would like a stand alone .pdf is, when I do research offline.

    Thanks,
    Byron

    Hi Bryon,

On the system where you have installed RED 5, go to the Applications folder – in there you will find a folder titled Boris RED 5.0. WIthin that folder you should find a folder titled Documentation. This is where all of the doc files for RED 5 are stored on your system. You should be able to read these without going on-line.

Can you give that a shot to see if it works for you?

    Thanks,

    Peter.
