There is a nice little program for Mac’s called Fotomagico–that will do a nice job of what you want to do

I think that in Edius, if you do not have “handles” it creates duplicate frames of the last frame to give the extra 15 or so frames.
That is why if you do not have handles, the effect is not as nice

Have your friend download Quicktime player ( it’s a free download) –As I understand flip4Mac is used to play Windows Media files on a Mac
