Go to genarts.com You can download a trial version of the sapphire plug-ins for 30 days. They’re really cool and easy to use.

If there are several cuts in your sequence, the TCG filter will only apply to one clip and give a display for the duration of that one clip. If you nest your clips together, then apply the TCG filter, it will display from the first frame to the last frame of the entire sequence. Unfortunately, since the TCG is a filter, you will most likely have to render. Hope this helps.

There is a Timecode Generator filter in the ‘Video’ folder under the Effects tab. You may want to nest the sequence before you apply the filter.

Try pressing ‘Control U’ or go to Window>Arrange>Standard. This will reset your display to the default setting.

The ‘Capture Now’ function should take care of your problem.

Go to Compostion>Add to Render Queue>Output Module:Lossless>Click on lossless>This will open Output Module Settings>Video Output>Click on Channels dropdown menu>select RGB+Alpha. Now when your file is rendered and brought into Vegas, your flames should overlay on your video. Hope this helps.
