I’m really not sure because everything looks great until it is rendered. I can even scrub through the footage and it looks good. But when I render…it turns to crap.
Here is an example of what is happening. (keep in mind this isn’t color graded or anything…I’m just trying to illustrate the problem I’m having after rendering.)
Can you give step by step instructions? Maybe this is option is only available with the newest version of compressor…I just don’t see any bluray options. I have version 3.0.5
What is your budget? Will you be shooting handheld or mostly on a tripod?
If you are shooting ANY hand held at all with a telephoto lens, it is CRUCIAL that you get a lens with image stabilization. It makes all the difference in the world.
Canon 70-200 f2.8 L IS or Canon 70-200 f4 L would both be great, but if you are on a tighter budger, canon also offers slower IS telephoto lenses.
This lens would be a starting point..but it isn’t nearly as sharp as the 2 I just mentioned:
I wouldn’t use Capture Now for anything. I have had timecode issues…Audio/Video Sync issues…it just isn’t good. I always set an in and out point before capturing footage.
