October 22, 2014 at 5:00 pm in reply to: Exporting 2k footage as Apple ProRes 422, 1080Hmmm. 2048×1152 is 16×9 ratio, so I’m not sure why you have the black bars in the 1080 frame at all. It should scale down perfectly.

October 21, 2014 at 7:49 pm in reply to: Exporting 2k footage as Apple ProRes 422, 1080AT the top of the OUTPUT screen it’s set to SCALE to Fit. So it is placing all of the 2K footage in to an HD 1080 frame. What you see is normal.
You can try the- other options, which will end up cutting off some of the left and right of your 2K image for 1080.

Reset the camera back to factory and try it with no adjustments to the profiles and see if you still get that much noise.

The QT is flagged as 24 and therefore plays in slomo by default. You can go in to PP or AE and interpret the footage on the clip to be 96fps and then it will play in real time.
