[Koby Goldberg] “I am going to make only small changes to it).”
What kind of small changes? adding any effects?

What versions of software are you using?
With the size you have(2:14) on a single DVD the bitrate is going to be low, around vhs quality

Does your burner do dual-layer disks??

You might want to look at Matrox MX02 mini, there are versions for either laptop or desktop or with addition of a extra card-both, it will I/O HD/SD thru HDMI, Component, Y/C or Composite

I use a Vizio 22″ 1080p TV for basic color correction using a Black Magic Intensity Pro for I/O with Ppro, and a HDspark for Edius, for more accurate adjustment I use the Waveform monitor and vector scope built into Premiere or Edius, i am sooner lor later going to get a MX02 for my laptop for video out and HDMI in

Like Tim said nVidia tends to work better the ATI, paticularly in the drivers dept. to keep around the same price ballpark as the 3650 a Geforce 9000 series like a 9600gt 512g works fine with Ppro, for a few bucks more you can go to a GTS200 series like a 250 or 260.

I’m running it on a HP dv7t I got the end of last year, it has a core2 2.66mhz, 4gigs of ram, 9600mGT 512g video, 17″ screen, two internal Harddrives, a built-in eSATA which I run a 2TB raid0, I’m going to upgrade it to 8gigs as 4gig chips are dropping in price(most laptops have only 2 slots for ram), I picked up another 17″ monitor, next thing is going to be a Matrox MX02 for I/O, external video monitor use, and HDMI to use a camcorder as a live camera head. The laptop is not the lightest machine but the 17″ screen more than makes up for it,

Sounds like you got a virus in your system, I use 6.5 on a older system and never had what you are describing.

June 25, 2009 at 6:42 pm in reply to: Mixed movie aspect trailers to export for cinema projection[Faruk Ozturkmen] “If you are going to ask me the aspect ratio of the screen to be previewed, I don’t know. It is a commercial cinema where you can watch any movie.”
It would be a good idea to find out what the native resolution of the projector is, Comercial Cinema” is ambigious, some scale nicely some don’t, if you want to get an idea owhat its about, do a search for “commercial cinema projector” -
>So far it would seem that the response generally deviates to having a professional monitor and a card that can output to the monitor. And being able to properly calibrate that monitor, correct?< Thats the jest of it, since you are going to deliver on SP you should be able to find a good used CRT monitor for a decent price if myou are on a budget, and a DV to A/V converter if you can't find a analog out card, outputs to be determined by the model of the deck you are going to input to.
