Putting the Cube in a Null and animating the Null is likely the way to go. It’s going to be a bit complex though. You will need to rotate the null to get the rotation you want but when you move the cube in the null to get a new rotation point you will have to move the null the same amount in the opposite direction so it doesn’t appear to move. Unless I’m missing something obvious this early in the morning.

Either – make the spline circles editable and do a Functions Connect, this gives you a new spline which contains all the connected bits (toss or hide the originals) – or, if you need the circles to be primitives, you could make instances of the sweep spline so you only really have to deal with the one original.

without knowing the setup (seeing the scene) it’s a bit of a guess but I would guess maybe add Random and/or a Shader effector with a noise in it.

Well default in C4D is 1-LMB is Pan, 2-LMB is Zoom, 3-LMB is Orbit (so is Option(alt)-LMB). There are shortcuts which use CMD so I don’t know if that would be a problem. Can’t test at the moment.

don’t need it, just put a texture on without a selection (C1, C2 etc) that will cover the rest of the object (anything not covered by the other textures with selections)

shouldn’t break if the texture images are in the Tex folder but if you moved them you’ll have to specify a new path in Preferences/Texture Paths

Sorry can’t develop it further (no time – heading out for the weekend) but here’s something with a couple Constraint tags that might work. They are a little off when animating in the viewport (because, I think, there’s multiple calculations going on) but should be predictable in render.

we’d have to know more about the setup and pBlurp settings. Can you post it?
