Thanks Herb, I am familiar with the Multicam feature, and use it often, but normally to cut back and forth between the shots ,and not to display them together in a grid at once.

But I did find a reference to the new Synchronize feature, where you can load up a few clips on top of each other in the timeline and sync them all to their audio, so that makes it really easy to then shrink the clips and fit them together on the screen

The plane is not footage, but a 3D model inserted into After Effects using Element 3D. So I want to animate the model to fly by with the camera tracking it..

  • Hi Andre’

I am also trying to accomplish something similar, which is to emit spark like particles from an animated shape, either from the shape, or just from the outline using a stroke.

Were you successful with what you were trying in this thread, and can you provide some guidance, or a project file? the link for the example referenced in the thread did not work for me.

    Thank you for any info

Thanks Walter, I did have the global scene settings set as you suggested, which did not seem to work. so tried the second option, ignoring the alpha in teh interpret footage area, but as you mention lost the transparency, then tried the “premultiplied” option which seemd to work and keep the transparency

Thanks for getting me to look at the Interpret Footage area.
