I just shot a lot of footage on the new panasonic 3100 and I’m having trouble importing them into FCP 6.0.6, even after downloading the AVC-Intra codec listed above. I still get the message “CBE P2 001” AVC-Intra codec not found.

When I downloaded the P2PCCard Install.pkg, did it automatically load the other files in the Leopard file as well (AJ-PCS060-P2Drive-P2Formatter) or do I have to download those manually?

Do I have to find the AVC-Intra codec I downloaded and apply it in some other file?

Do I have the Audio/Video Settings set up properly for FCP 6.0.6?

-Capture Preset: HDV-Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)
    -Device Control Preset: Non-Controllable Device
-Video Playback: Digital Cinema Desktop Preview-Main
-Audio Playback: Built in Line Output

  • The MacPro is brand new with 16GB ram and 4 TB HD/Kona 3 card and breaker box and AJA Io. All of the right toys, but the FCP Studio 2 is second hand. I’m going to call Apple and see if they can help.
