Robert. If you open up Adobe Media Encoder you can design your own custom presets. Prores will be one of the options and you can set frame rate etc. proves is progressive so it may fix some of your issues. You could convert your raw footage to prores 422 or 422HQ and bring it in to ppro.

Trevor, I would consider.. it’s a pain.. converting your raw footage to prores which will be progressive and not interlaced. If I understand your question correctly, PPro does have a time feature. But I think if you convert your raw footage to the frame rate and attributes you desire. you will be rolling!

Tasha… bring your video into compressor or adobe media encoder and export as a progressive file… 1080p or 720p. that will convert it to progressive rather than interlaced format. preferably prorez 422

Hi Chris. I’m doing ok with it in mavericks. better than in Yosemite with the CUDA issues. But I’ve been having audio issues. Audio channel mute not functioning correctly and video waveform not visible in preview monitor and also (only one time) audio mix was completely out of whack on export.

David…one better. What would you recommend for a PC system. Being a Mac guy… Can it be done for $5000 or under? Thinking SS Drive, 2TB secondary ATA, NVIDIA card, 64GB Ram, 27″ display ( samsung?) or 2 20inch.

I’ve seriously been considering it for over a year now. I think most of my apps will work cross-platform. Thanks for the advice on a reseller contract. That seems the way to go. Can you recommend anyone? I know of ProMax in Ca who I’ve had conversations with in the past. But would welcome any suggestions.
