    thanks Jeff! what s the typical set up to get best performance and the least rendering and still be able to export at high quality. I have media encoder set up with various prores configurations.. so I think I’m good with export. But in program.. what would be the optimal configuration for performance and rendering time? 😀

    Someone had recommended using the Cineform codec for sequence preview. It seems to work better for me… testing it… than the MPEG1 options. Not sure it’s any faster than the prores422 setting though. Possibly? What exact codec would be ideal for sequence preview performance?

    Hi. I was told to set sequences to an MPEG format to avoid taxing premiere AMAP. I had previously had prores422 as the sequence setting.. will using cineform, being mpeg2 give me better performance? thanks.

    I’ve got 32GB of Ram… I’ve got an AMD Radeon 6970M 2GB video card – not CUDA though… but I’m actually waiting for my decked out, back-ordered 2013 iMac.. which has the NVIDA Card and 32GB of Ram…

    my preview settings are set to 1920×1080 prores 422 with maximum bit depth and render quality unchecked.. is there anything different I should do? thanks.
