You’ll have to make sure the individual sequence settings are for 4 channel output as well. Then right click either in the area to the left of the timeline or in the audio tool and you can patch which tracks go to which channel. When you change your sequence settings, the audio meter in the audio tool should show 4 audio outs instead of a stereo pair.d

The h.264 looks amazing at only 300kb. The other is more like 550kb and still doesn’t look as good.
I’d love to know any issues anyone has with either. Please give specifics about what browser, platform, and version of Quicktime you have installed.

Well, they’re not blank. They’re not there. Your playback device ADDS the blank lines on playback into the analog signal.

When you import 720×486 into a 720×480 sequence, FCP shoud leave it as is, with 6 lines hanging out of frame. Lost essentiall. If it scaled the footage, you’d compromise the field ordering, forcing it to interpolate field mush.

Aha. It was the first one. But apparently it’s a timed thing. So the mpeg streamclip did the trick.

Ralph, if it’s all wedding photo related, I’d search the web for specific solutions for wedding photographers. There are many solutions that are either do it your self add-ons or complete hosting and service packages aimed at wedding photographers and their specific needs.

???? Yeah. That’s what I said. He said he sped it up. Which makes it shorter. Which is why the audio is ending before the video. What part did you miss? If you don’t also speed up the video… (he didn’t say) then the audio is going to end first. Which was his problem. So that’s why he’d loop it. To fill the void left by making it shorter.

I’d have to disagree. They’re acceptable. Some are pretty soft. I hope you didn’t use the “blur” effect to eliminate artifacts. I’d rather see artifacts. However the front page looks pretty bad. Artifacts everywhere.

Overall the images look very soft. They could also use some photoshop adjusting. Most don’t have anything that is 100% white in them, although there’s white ceilings, fridgeds, walls, etc. Use image>auto levels in PS to start.

So maybe they’re not pristine, and AOL is compromising them even further. I’d kick the quality up a bit. I usually use around 60 in PS. But it all depends.

They get installed when you install LiveType. Unless you opted not to. I think if I remember right there’s a preference in LiveType to point to the LiveType data files.

I recently moved mine to another drive, and when I opened LT it asked where they were, and I pointed it.

There’s probably not anymore sound left if you sped it up 1000%. Why don’t you just duplicate it and loop it as many times as you need.

I’ve never ever experienced the FCP scopes being dead on. And I don’t believe there’s anything called FCP units. Perhaps you’re confused because you’re used to looking at analog scopes where black is at 7.5 IRE? In the digital world, you should be stripping setup and blacks should be at 0ire, which of course throws off all the scope settings you’re used to, like 3 black, 7.5 black, & 11 black in your setup.
