    Hey Vishesh,

Thanks for responding. I think I failed to explain what I’m trying to accomplish. I don’t need to use text for all of the things that the person says, only the subject of each point the speaker makes.

So to use a hypothetical… if the person is talking about how great his text is, and how it seems to say everything he wants it to say, and it’s in the perfect font for all his needs.
On the side there would be a bullet point that says “-great text”.

I’ll still check out the typography stuff to see if it stirs any inspiration. Thanks again.

Thganks steve, I appreciate the help. I suspected there was going to be a bit of a difference, but wanted to hear what others had to say.

Still would love to know If I make a quicktime with none set as the compressor if it screws with my image, or just makes a larger file with the 422 information. Any ideas guys?

Thanks David. Yeah, I wasn’t sure how to word that second question. I was trying to say If you have an uncompressed 10bit 422 file from mac, and render it in after effects as a quicktime file with the compressor set to none, is there going to be a hit to the file? My intuition is that it wouldn’t but wanted to hear other people’s thoughts on the matter.

I appreciate your response Arnie, but my question was not how do I get my timeline over to fcp. I am interested in people’s real world experiences with adobe’s aaf being read and translated by automatic duck.

aaf is just metadata containing the ins and outs of the time line(like an edl), the source files would be r3d files.
