cs4 aaf import question
Posted by Brett Stumpp on October 30, 2009 at 3:46 amHas anyone had any success exporting an aaf made in premiere cs4, and importing it into final cut pro through automatic duck?

October 30, 2009 at 4:45 amWhy would you export an AAF if you want to go to FCP? That’s not an FCP format.
FCP prefers Quicktime.

October 30, 2009 at 3:01 pmaaf is just metadata containing the ins and outs of the time line(like an edl), the source files would be r3d files.

October 31, 2009 at 10:36 pmI appreciate your response Arnie, but my question was not how do I get my timeline over to fcp. I am interested in people’s real world experiences with adobe’s aaf being read and translated by automatic duck.
