Thanks for the quick feedback.
I am not sure on who is doing the post yet, but I do know at least for the first phase, I need to supply static logos as .dpx files. So that, at least takes care of frame rates I believe because they will just be adding my graphic into a timeline. However, I forgot about color space, so thanks for that.
It is the ratios I am concerned about. Photoshop has a default Film (2K) document size. However, it is set at 2048 x 1556 pixels with an aspect ratio at square pixels.
However, according to a chart I have, 2K is 2048 x 1080 pixels with a 17:9 aspect. If I create a document in Photoshop at 2048×1080, and set a custom aspect ratio to 1.88 (which I believe is 17:9 right?), I get a document that is crazy wide compared to its height and does not at all look like the default Photoshop size.

That should be easy enough. Save off your arrow as a PSD or PNG file with as much gutter as you need on the top and right side so it position correctly if aligned to the top right corner. Then open your first image. Start to record the action. Place your arrow image, click the check mark to accept it and place it. Then, control click on the BG layer, use the aligh button to align to the top and right edge of the photo.
Done. The key is creating your arrow graphic with the spacing you want in it so you can auto align.

I think most of the cameras let you name create and name folders. I am surprised yours doesn’t. Anyway, the at least two different Canon Powershots I have used i the $300 range, an older and cheaper Casio, and the Minilta’s I have used all have that ability.
As for naming them individually, I think that needs to be done after the fact. You can set up the prefix though in advance.

How are you saving the files?

Thanks…
I did get this info from another forum, and this solution looks simpler and cleaner:

Sorenson Squeeze Pro has a FLV output that you can use in your Flash website… it also outputs MOV, WMV, RM. It really is a nice program. It has all sorts of presets and lets you make and save your own. I use it all the time to output large and small versions of videos and/or multiple formats of videos.
I don’t have any actual numbers to back this up, but my perception is that videos outputted from Sorenson versus PPro1.5 or AE7Pro are about 20% better looking and 20% smaller in file size. ANYONE HAVE REAL NUMBERS TO SUPPORT THIS?
Well worth the $200 or so it costs (at least what it use to cost – can’t speak for it now).

October 21, 2005 at 7:53 pm in reply to: Why does it sound so bad when you change the Clip’s speed? When you slow or speed up a clip, the audio is equally affected… its just the nature of the beast. So, if your interviews are “talking heads” with synched audio (voice andmouth matching), you can’t slow it down successfully.
If it is just a VO over video of people, then, unlink your audio from the video, and only slow down the video clips.
