Is there a camera (max $300) that lets you organize the photos in the camera’s menu like naming the photos you’re taking and sending them to chosen folders instead of doing it later in your computer and shoots video with an editable compression, compatible with FCP?

My current camera names every photo with a number and doesn’t let you create folders and subfolders with a specific topic. So when I open them up with photoshop, I have to go through hundreds of them to find the one I need. Also gives me MPg4 video compression which I then have to convert to be able to edit.

    Best,

I think most of the cameras let you name create and name folders. I am surprised yours doesn’t. Anyway, the at least two different Canon Powershots I have used i the $300 range, an older and cheaper Casio, and the Minilta’s I have used all have that ability.

As for naming them individually, I think that needs to be done after the fact. You can set up the prefix though in advance.
