The logo I want to use is the F1 logo (motorsport), I can create the logo as a solid in 3dS max as this is my native package.

I would be interested in knowing how you would do it then I can see if I can replicate this method.

Oh I used to work for lockhead and general dynamics here in the UK. I know what you mean. Every single change would always mean loads of overtime.

Thanks for your rapid response.

The animations were created in 3DS Max.

I was hoping I could apply some kind of filter to the animation in AE a bit like one of the sketch filters in photoshop.

I did render them out as png`s but I think I have deleted the original png’s now.

I want to avoid the render times and I think my client would like to avoid this as well.
