Hello. I was having the same problem. Tried the suggestion in this post and it worked for me as well.

I started a new project that required the KONA and and AVID codec. I downloaded them and went on to work on the project, did not see an issue in that project. So far I have opened two older HD projects and I ran into this washed out looked. These are projects I began and finished prior to loading these codecs.

As I said I checked the 601 box in the interpret footage window and the issue was fixed. Will I have to check this box from now on? Should I trash the codecs?

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Hello All,
We just picked up the 200A and have a project coming up that will require some green screen. Has anyone seen an improvement in the 200A over the 200 with the halo?

We use After Effects for compositing but we have Shake, though have not gotten our feet wet with it. The fix that Per spoke of about half way down this post… does anyone have a similar fix using Shake?

    Thank you,
    Brett

October 1, 2008 at 8:07 pm in reply to: Samsung MagicNet Setup

    Hello Walter,
Thank you for the quick reply and for the great advice.

We had discussed something similar to what you were talking about… regarding the space between the displays, and how it may make the motion across multiple screens look a bit jumpy if we didn’t account for the space. This project may even be more cumbersome as they will not be butted against each other. At this time I think they plan to place them about a foot apart. We have been thinking of them more as port holes in the side of a ship that we can see out of. So if an animated bird were moving by it will need time to get from one display to the next.

Thank you for the input. I will also post back after I am done to explain how it came off. Maybe I can shed some light on the process with MagicNet should someone come looking for info in the future.

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Hello All,
We sent the unit back to where we purchased from. We got a new unit and all inputs work great. Something on the first unit must have been out of whack.
    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did take a look at all of those things with no luck. Waiting for a word back from Panasonic as well.

Thank you for your input. I will take a look at your suggestion. I went ahead and setup a password protected PHP page an uploaded the files there. So far no troubles.
    Thank you,
