Hi Lisa,
I have a similar problem with a Motion Menu in Encore CS5. The Menu is on a loop for 30 Seconds and the on the Last second it Flashes to Black. I would also like a resolution to this problem. I have already posted on this site a few months ago with no reply.

Hi Gil,
I use the RT.x2 in conjunction with Premiere CS4 to Edit HD. If you are installing the Matrox Card Make sure to follow Matrox instructions to the Letter. You will first need to Update Premiere CS4 to the latest Version 4.2 (Go into Premiere under Help you will see the Update Option.)
Next you will need to Download the Latest Matrox MX Tools for the Card.good Luck and happy editing.

Hi,
Did you activate your Adobe product over the internet. If not you will keep getting the same message. Hook up to the internet and go into Adobe Premiere Pro and go to the Help tool bar and activate your product.
Best of luck. -
Hi Gil,
I would first check with matrox to see if the Boris Effects are compatible with the Rt.x2 If they are you should install the Rt.x2
card and you should use the Matrox HD presets within Premiere.
Hope that helps. -
Hi Gil,
Do you have CS4. If so you can Select all your Clips in the Bin and press a little icon (Conform to Timeline) at the base of the bin window and this will bring up a dialog box where you can choose to overlap your clips by as many frames as you choose. Just untick the
cross dissolve option. hope this helps. -
Can anybody help me with the following:
Hi,
I need to export an Uncompressed Quicktime file for a DCP (Digital Cinema package) I finished a Documentary which I shot on a Sony EX3 at 35mbs 720p 50p
I fed the raw footage MP4 into the NLE. I have Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Production Premium and the Matox RT.X2 installed on the system.

I have CS4 Encore and cannot import an m2v file. It gets to 80% and the whole System hangs. I have tried to close it down using the task Manager but to no avail as even the mouse has frozen.
I have windows 7 Professional 64 bit and 6 mb memory.
I have created a High definition Blu ray project Mpeg 2 50p
the m2v file and .ac3 are 21.5gb in total.
Is there a fix for the import problem. I would appreciate if anybody
can help me with this problem. I had CS3 and Windows Xp and it wasn`t a problem with the import.many thanks in advance.

December 15, 2006 at 1:19 am in reply to: JVC HD100U and Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Capture issuesFrom what I can remember the first 10 minutes were in sync and I was beginning to think that adobe had pulled off a master stroke.
Why do Adobe leave their troubleshooting to hard pressed busy people
like me. Do they take any responsibility for answering and solving
problems with their software. Do they read and research forums like Creative Cow. If you do please reply urgently with an answer and at least some good news of a fix. -

December 14, 2006 at 1:36 pm in reply to: JVC HD100U and Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Capture issuesHello Tim,
Adobe claim that they have developed a way of editing HDV natively
within Premiere Pro 2.The captured footage gets Indexed after it is Captured. They have supplied a JVC Pro HD preset for editing 25P which can be downloaded from their website. I have downloaded this preset and tried capturing an Hours Footage shot with The JVC HD 100E into Premiere Pro 2 using my JVC BR HD50 Deck as the source machine. The results were exactly as Leo experienced. It captured the Full hour and after capturing it indexed the file. On examining the audio waveform on the timeline it was obvious that the first 12 minutes of audio had been repeated throughout the full hour of capture.(ie.in a loop) My camera is a JVC HD 100E model.Note: The picture was perfect and Scrubbing on the Timeline was very smooth.
I think that the problem lies somewhere when it indexes the file. I hope that Adobe come up with a fix and that they are aware of this problem.Yours Sincerely,
Brendan Kerins.
