    I’m in Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), 29.94, 1920×1080

  • Nope, no LUTs on my end that I can detect…

  • The weird thing is that it plays fine on my computer, both in DaVinci, and other players like QT or VLC.

As soon as it goes to another computer it looks awful (and no, not the normal range between monitors.)

We tried running it through Premiere on another computer, taking the 4K file I had exported which looked horrible on the other computer, rendered it out to 2K on that computer, and the 2K file looked fine…. until it got put onto yet ANOTHER computer. All of a sudden, same issue.

  • Where would these settings be located exactly?

I’ve been checking all my settings against my settings on another computer with DaVinci (which I haven’t had issues with), and they all seem to be the same.

I’m not sure if I’m missing some hidden tab or settings panel.

  • The first time I noticed it I was exporting to QT ProRes 422 (4k) from R3Ds shot at 4k.

  • Thanks for the response!

Currently set to 64-940 at 10-bit….

Yessir, Avid 6.5.2, Premiere Pro CS6. DaVinci Resolve 9.

The EDL looks a bit weird to me… listed, for example, is:

    002 UNKNOWN AA C 05:19:(etc etc)
    AUD 3 4
    * FROM CLIP NAME: a025_c003_01018Y – 19CT1

The “UNKNOWN AA”… is that an issue? I have absolutely no experience with Premiere Pro, and limited experience with Avid so I may have created the EDL incorrectly. CMX3600, looked like it went smoothly, but I can’t be sure.

For the MXFs, there is nothing listed under “Tape” or “TapeID”. There is no column for “Reel”.

I’m not sure how to check this for the timeline…

Thanks, yeah I’ve been able to use local versions, and multiple remote versions, but it still seems that the ISO choice is locked.

It makes sense, since we can choose Project, Camera, or Clip (if I recall correctly) to define each clip’s ISO, and it seems that under these options, “Clip” refers to the whole source file. I can adjust the ISO under the “Clip” option fine, but I need it to not apply to all the cuts in the film from the same original source.

I’m just wondering if there’s any workaround for this specifically.

    Thanks!!
