Just to add, the files seems to be older. When I open the motion files, it says it is from an older motion and if I want to open the original or as “untitled” Neither open with anymore than a black screen.

I just recieved this as a gift from a friend of mine. He said his installed just fine but when I did it, motion wouldnt read them. I followed the instructions on the wondertouch website for motion 2, but that didnt work. I am using Motion 3. I even tried taking the files out of the wondertouch folders and putting them in the folders that are already there. No luck. Any advice?

Actually, I figured out a work around, if not a cure. I spent the better half of an hour looking for this and here is what I found: When you pull the PNG into your time line and it is not transparent, click on the clip and go to the modify option in your menu bar. There, go down to “alpha type” and choose “straight”. I dont know why you have to do it now, but thats what I found works. Hope if helps.

The same thing is happening to me, running FCS 6. It dosent happen all the time, but when it does, that project is shot and I cant use any transparent images. What is the deal?

  • Im Running SL 10.6.2 with FCS 6, and that folder could not be found. I had a fix for this before, but it came back. I even tried the Compressor repair tool, but that didnt work either.

There isnt a time line on the APP project, just logging info. But the AVIs that he captured dont have info for recapture.

We have a guy here with a new mac pro that just started having this issue yesterday. Thing is, the fix that was posted didnt work. I think it is because he is running Snow Leopard and had FCS7. Any ideas?
