    Update on this. With rendered video to my Mac Pro, the QuickTime playback is fantastic with no issues. When it mistaken to another video venue campus, they are saying it looks like it is skipping frames at times. They said they a half-second issue, not stopping but jerky or hesitant in playback. The video is played out of a 3.06 iMac running DVI out to a DVI extender. Cat 5 . Could it be a video card issue on this?

    Yes, with all E-Sata drives. I will try FireWire in the morning to see if it changes.

    Both my G-Raid and Lacie are half full. Here is the crazy thing. If I pull one section of video to the G-Raid or Lacie, the playback artifacts, but straight out of the FS-100 when I open a Quicktime file, no artificating. really puzzling.

    On my lacie e-sata it was 109 read and 98.9 write. Wow, what a difference. Wonder what the issue with the G-Raid is?

    write was 97.9

    The Read was 57mb, the write is still processing.

    Itnis QT files pulled into the timeline. The sequence settings match the clip settings. Using FCP 7
