Hi Neil,I forgot to mention that the movie is shot 75% on the Panasonic HVX200 at 1280×720 30p and the rest on The Canon 1280×720 60p. looking at the log and transfer option in FCP the P2 AVC-intra has the option to
convert to ProRes 422 or native DVCPRO HD. The Canon E1 plugin only has the option to do ProRess, Am i going to loose any quality converting the Panasonic footage to ProRes 422 rather then DVCPRO HD?

The panasonic is shot at 1280 720 30p frames the canon was shot at 1280 720 60p to allow for slow motion in cinitools

The panasonic is shot at 30 frames the canon was shot at 60 to allow for slow motion in cinema tools.

have a project that is shot on a panasonic HVX200
that shoots DVCPRO HD and a Canon 1d mark iv
that shoots h.264 files, I am editing in FCP and using
log and transfer to import the files. Panasonic has a plug in that transfers to DVCPRO HD and My canon has a plug in that transfers to all the prores formats. my question is can i work with both of these formats on the same timeline to edit?

Shane, Alright I am going to stick with the MXO. Cheaper….
I guess i will sell my Apple LED “LAME EXPENSIVE DISPLAY”

Hi Michael, Sorry to keep bugging! Should i get a Martox MXO 2, this way i could have an hdmi out to have a viewing display as well Right?
I could also use apple color, I think you need a PCI card for that right?
My matrox MXO shows up tomorrow. What do you think?

Hi John, do you Know if there is a way to hook up the Apple 24″ LED amd a Matrox MXO to a macbook pro?

I already own a Apple 24 LED. I am trying to Still use it for the my left monitor and a dell 2408 on the right for color correction. Are you saying this is not possible with the MXO unless i get a 30″ Apple?
