I haven’t tried changing the location of the media cache so it’s set to the default location on the local drive.
I’m not sure what you mean by SAN volume identity…can you explain?
I use iSCSI to connect to the SAN.
This is the storage that I’m using: https://www.dynamicdrivepool.com – the company claims that it is compatible with Premiere but I cannot get it to work properly.

Looks to me like it’s a bug in CS6…if you export audio as Linear PCM/stereo and then bring the file into FCP it will see it as dual mono. I had to use the Apple Lossless work-around.
It’s possible I’m doing something incorrectly…Maybe Kevin can chime back in?

In Filmstrip mode, change the thumbnail duration to some number like 1m or even smaller (down to 1/2s).
What I’m wishing is a key command to do this.”You can also use ; and ‘ to jump from favorite to favorite in the filmstrip view. Then there’s no need to zoom way in on your giant clip to find your in’s/outs.
