Did you record HDV or DV with that camera? HDV
is the camera set to output HDV or DV? HDV
Is FCP set to receive a HDV or DV signal? HDV

Again, I have been doing this for a long time with this camera without a problem, I am at a loss. Any idea what could be going on here??

I have tried the footage in another camera with the same result. I can see it while spooling and not in regular playback. Anything????

I like the trading thing. Sounds way easier.

They must have a way to read it. I sent them one show and things were okay as far as reading it. On my end I changed the original sequence and things went haywire. (The video looked SD) I am just trying to get it simplified.

So you would export a QT file with the settings they requested and copy it to a hard drive?

They are most interested I am guessing in the QT format. I am the one who wants to send a xdcam disk. For the simple reason I do not want to send out an external hard drive for every episode.

It will not let me use these setting anyway. It say the current settings are unsupported. I can do anything within the XDCAM HD settings and it will export fine?

Is there a better way to write to xdcam? This is the first show they have received in xdcam. They may not know a better way.

Just got work from Comcast Chicago that they think it is a Direct TV feed. They said the dub ran great on Cable.

The guy paying for the airing is the guy complaining. Even when he saw the master and thought it looked great. My next question would be could it be the way they run it because he is using SD equipment? I would think not that it should still look like the master after it airs, but?
