Control-click (Right-click) in the Tape Name box to see a pull-down menu.

One quick way is to create a “Gradient” in the Render generator, add it to the video track above your clip, and “mix” over your clip by a small amount.

I assume (you know what happens when we “assume”) that you could just as easily connect the (red and white) RCA jacks on the back of the MXO to the Mackie, as well.

From looking at the Matrox site, it seems the MXO has a stereo mini-jack audio output.
You’d just connect that with audio adapter cables to one of the Mackie’s stereo line inputs and that’s about all there is to it.
It should work like any other unbalanced line source.

shows a connection to “Amplified computer speakers.”
Just connect the Mackie (or any mixer) instead of the amplified speakers.

Use any small meter that has an “Amps” high enough to handle, say 10 DC amps.
Then just touch the leads (plus and minus) to those of the battery.
The meter will nearly “short” the battery when the leads are connected (putting it under a very high “load”), so only test JUST long enough (a second or two) to get a reading (which will steadily FALL, if you leave the leads across the battery too long.)
To know what a “good” battery should read, test a couple of known NEW batteries and note their readings.
I, too, have experienced the “fade” of the little hearing aid batteries in my Trams.
But it takes a long (LONG) time for the Tram to “drain” even the lowest=cost new batteries I install.

With most wireless mics the cable between the “head” and the transmitter is unbalanced.
Short unbalanced runs of any sort are generally no problem at all (unless you are in a situation of high RF and/or near to AC lines or lighting transformers.)

I own 2 Panasonics and they work well.
The DataVideo is a very good switcher as well (I’ve use it many times.)
And another choice is Edirol by Roland.

Any off-the-shelf telephone will work.
All telephones connected to the same line will “communicate” with each other, as many as you need.All you have to do is supplying DC POWER to make them run.
