analog timecode is just a stupid audio signal.
If you can create it digital, fine. Just use it.
If you have a hardware box, let it run and record it…
If it sounds ugly, it’s probably allright 🙂

(no idea why anyone wants it, if you give them a file with a start/end beep and the proper timebase, any sound workstation can link to it… Mind you, i’m a TC GEEK and develop a lot of TC products, but this is not a biggy….)

Get a still camera, shoot the building from all directions at a sraight angle.
Shoot a picture from the angle you want to show, use that as a template to rebuild the building in AE from all the straight pictures and start animating. (slice the images where you want them to fold)

To do this nice, be prepared for a week of work for 20 decent seconds output…

use any recording app. you have laying around, record/import and edit it in, or get a transcoder to record over firewire.
However, a Mojo can be found for under 1K USD used, and it is a handy extra. (Unlike transcoders, using a Mojo will keep your timeline in sync with the client monitor)
Do yourself a favour, get a Mojo.

that’s strange. I pay .69 for Tayio Yuden, and .41 for Ritek(euro’s)
Indeed more expensive, but not three times, and a max run is about 350 over here (otherwise is sent it out to a plant)
So on the biggest jobs it is about 100 euro difference on a 1000 euro job, aint’t that much concidering the huge quality difference.

They will fade when exposed long time to direct sunlight.
I would send them back to your supplier and have them fight it out.
(make sure you ask for a refund)

Meanwhile, check out the watershielded Tayo Yuden. Once you’ve seen the results of that, you never go back (and they are as good media as Riteks, my former weapon of choice)

Be sure to connect video also, even if you aren’t recording it.
Just feed the Mojo anything you might have, a second output of your BB gen will do just fine
